About InnoRate:
InnoRate is an H2020 project, aimed at supporting innovative, tech-driven start-ups and SMEs with high growth potential to have easier access to the financing solutions required to scale and grow. The concept is simple: design, develop, test and deploy an EU recognised service platform – the InnoRate Service Platform – to support and improve the decision – making processes of investors for financing innovative start-ups and SMEs, especially those that are driving or providing innovations, which have the potential to disrupt existing or create new markets.
About the webinar:
This 60 – minute webinar session is for European SMEs and start-ups who seek concrete tips and tricks on how they can ensure their company’s investment readiness. When looking at investment readiness, the last thing an entrepreneur wants to think about is how their start-up / project will end. Yet, one of the first things a potential investor (equity) asks about is the company’s exit strategy. The answer the entrepreneur will give can make or break their ability to get an investment. Thus, our expert will delve specifically into the key following elements:
- What are the different types of entry conditions and how do these impact exit strategies?
- What types of exit strategies appeal to investors? (e.g. M&A by another company; IPO; Equity firm etc)
- When do such exit rules enter into place?
- What is the best exit strategy to protect the value created and maximise financial return for founders?
