The second pilot validation workshop of InnoRate was held on Wednesday, 10 November and was organised digitally via the Zoom platform, given the prolonged pandemic emergency. The workshop participants were 14, comprising 6 experts from the InnoRate Advisory Board, covering various fields of expertise, including innovation support experts and umbrella organisations.
The workshop begun with a tour de table, during which each participant presented their background, expertise, and organisation. Experts were then introduced to the project concept, while particular attention was paid to the presentation of the activities implemented during InnoRate’s 2nd Pilot Phase. Specifically, the main part of the workshop was divided into sub-sessions for each use case tested during the pilot phase of InnoRate, namely the cases of (i) private investors, (ii) technology transfer offices, (iii) innovation intermediaries, (iv) experts and (v) start-ups. For each sub-session, a set of tailored questions was presented to participants in order to facilitate the discussions.
The workshop was a successful exercise, insofar it enabled our Consortium to gather observations and feedback on the ITRS assessment and its indicators by user type, thus maximising the key learnings of the project.
