On Thursday 4th of November, InnoRate presented an interactive workshop on its Policy Recommendations. These recommendations bring forward what could be done to enable new companies make their case to investors, reduce information asymmetries and minimise effort on behalf of investors. The recommendations examined during the workshop pertain to the following thematic areas:
- Policy recommendations concerning how to structure and what to include in a successful Technology Rating System (TRS)
- Policy recommendations concerning how to build trust in a Technology Rating System (TRS)
- Policy recommendations concerning how to make an optimal use of a Technology Rating System (TRS)
The event was attended by an audience of over 25 among policy makers, investors, funders and SME representatives. The objective of the exercise was to create a debate around the 15 initial policy recommendations derived from project, thus driving their fine-tuning. Thanks to a lively and fruitful discussion among the participants, the objective was met and the elaboration of the final version of the recommendations will shortly follow.
The event also offered an occasion to get a new audience acquainted with the InnoRate project, invite them to register the InnoRate platform and fill in the survey to leave their feedback.
Stay tuned for the final version of the ‘InnoRate policy recommendations and uptake guide’, which will be included in the Reports section of the website.
