Time flies, and InnoRate is in its 4th semester. During all that time, we have been working on the core concepts of the project: the InnoRate Technology Rating System (ITRS), the architecture of the platform and the formulation of appropriate business models. So, what did we achieve?
After persistent tests and improvements, the InnoRate platform is ready for use: innovative projects, start-ups, SME, private investors, innovation intermediaries, technology transfer offices and matchmaking firms are altogether invited to get hands on the platform. These parties can leverage InnoRate’s functionalities according to their circumstances and get a step ahead of their competition. SMEs can benchmark their innovation potential and connect with investors, while investors can seek and compare different opportunities, using InnoRate’s visualization tools. All parties are also invited to test InnoRate’s data analytics services, a product of sophisticated semantic data modelling.
Simultaneously with the launch of the platform, InnoRate has launched a call for experts who have previous entrepreneurial experience and are looking for an exciting opportunity to join a community with well-established professionals specializing in raising and scaling-up promising companies. Experts participation will be voluntary, and experts are expected to facilitate the deep-assessment process of innovative projects, start-ups or SMEs. While participation at this community is pro-bono, experts can profit in numerous ways: They will be able to get early access to InnoRate database of European start-ups and early-stage SMEs, access technical information about emerging technology trend, network with peers and start-ups, as well as gain visibility in InnoRate’s website and social media.
So, what’s next?
Now, InnoRate is looking forward to welcoming users from the innovation financing landscape in the platform, get their feedback and live up to its premise of bringing innovation to finance, and finance to innovation. To this end, InnoRate is launching two iterative pilot rounds to test the platform and its services. Within the next months we are looking forward to receiving applications from experts and registrations to our platform. In addition, the following months, a series of investment-readiness and matchmaking events will take place, helping innovative projects, start-ups and SMEs participating in our platform to navigate their way through growth.
