We are proud to announce the formation of the InnoRate Advisory Board (AB) consisting of recognised experts from the business/investors’ community, academia, national public authorities, all of them motivated to strengthen the innovation capacity of Europe on a long-term basis.
InnoRate envisions an EU access to finance ecosystem, in which innovative SMEs with high growth potential have easier access to the financing solutions required to scale and grow. The concept is simple: design, develop, test and deploy an EU recognised service platform and along with investment readiness and match making services that will be offered paving the way for drastic innovations to flourish, so as to place Europe in the forefront of the global innovation game.
In this context, InnoRate has set up an AB, currently comprised of 27 leading experts, reflecting a good blend of different organisation types, stakeholders, expertise, genders and geographic coverage across Europe. Thus, the InnoRate AB is composed of diverse innovation actors, including stakeholders from the business/investors’ community, academia, public as well as civil society sectors.
The members of the AB will provide the project with meaningful insights into the interests and views of their stakeholder communities based on their experiences and expertise. The AB will be involved in key stages of InnoRate and act as a consultation body for the InnoRate consortium by providing valuable feedback aimed at better aligning project outcomes with the needs of their users and stakeholders. At the same time, it will support the testing and evaluation of the InnoRate Technology Rating system, while it will also strengthen the pilot activities by suggesting potential innovation actors through its network that can benefit from the InnoRate outcomes.
To fulfil this role, the members of the AB will participate in physical and virtual meetings through which they will have the opportunity to be introduced to InnoRate’s concepts and ideas and be directly involved in the discussion and validation of the InnoRate Technology Rating Platform leading to strategic improvements. Besides that, the InnoRate AB will interact on ad-hoc basis in order to provide advice, guidance and recommendations to other significant issues such as the key performance indicators that will be used for assessing the performance and results of the InnoRate platform, or the definition of new cases to test the InnoRate platform.
Are you interested in participating?
The AB of InnoRate will be open for new members across the entire duration of the project, allowing for further additional expertise and knowledge to flow into the project, while also extending its reach out to key stakeholder groups across Europe and beyond.
