Last Friday, 3 December, the InnoRate consortium organised the final dissemination event of the project in the context of the European Big Data Value Forum 2021. A hybrid event organised by the Big Data Value Association (BDVA), the European Commission (DG CNECT), and supported by the Slovenian Presidency of the Council, EBVDF managed to attract over 1500 registered attendees from Europe and beyond.
InnoRate’s webinar, pertaining to the “Deployment and Market uptake” thematic track, had an articulated, yet focussed agenda, which illustrated to the participants the following topics:
- InnoRate’s project identity, context and rationale. Through the words of Dimitrios Daskalakis and Konstantinos Chisiridis (Q-PLAN), the audience was presented with a summary of the project and could get to know the services and benefits of InnoRate.
- The shift from the Korean Technology Rating System to the InnoRate Technology Rating System. Thanks to the presentations by Yushin Kim (KOTEC) and Carmine Apice (EY), the audience was introduced to the journey from the KTRS to the ITRS and the methodologies behind each mechanism.
- The InnoRate Platform and its use cases. Milena Garthley (Tech Tour Global) detailed InnoRate’s value proposition for its different use cases.
- And, finally, how to structure, promote and deploy a Technology Rating System. Giulia Zendron (White Research) gave an overview of the lessons-learned and policy implications of InnoRate, deriving from 3 years of project.
Overall, the online session went smoothly, thus concluding the series of InnoRate’s dissemination events in a positive way.
